"CLICK"

The picture is out of focus (and focused on strangely focused on Barbara in the Background instead.)
It was taken with a Samsung 5.0 mega pixel digital camera (the same camera I take all my other reed pictures with).
But you can clearly hear the “click” as I set the overlap.
Here’s the second “Click” clip

Wow! Good question! I had to get up and look to see. Looking down the staple end of my reed, I see that the reed lays perfectly straight with the opening. What about yours?

Cooper,
that’s interesting…i don’t think i’ve EVER heard an audible click when i slip the blades…maybe my gouges are screwed up or maybe i’m not paying attention…a question: when you look through the wide end of the tube, what is usually the orientation of the line of the reed opening at the tip with the oval of the tube at the tip of the tube, perfectly straight, right side up a bit, or left side up a bit?
