Haunting Oboe Music… the Band…

a Prayer:
Dear Lord.Why did this band have to pick the name “Haunting Oboe Music?“ It has nothing to do with oboe. In fact, most oboists probably don’t like this kind of music. Is this your idea of a joke? Is this the kind of music oboists in hell have to listen to? Does Jesus have a grudge against the oboe?
Lord, please use divine intervention to change their name. Reveal yourself to the band, so that they may wake up and say, “Oh my! Jesus has just given us a new name! We are to be the Haunting Sackbut Music!”
For the sake of all oboists, please show your power Lord.

hello cooper. the name haunting oboe music comes from the Movie Fantasia. If you watch it in captions when Mickey Mouse is running from the chasing broomsticks it says haunting oboe music playing. strange. We are all huge fans of the oboe and our drummers mother is an acclaimed oboe player. We are looking to fit this into the band with no avail. sorry for your disgust Jesus wanted me to write and explain. george
