Someone has begun an oboe comics website. The most recent comic here is rather disgusting, kind of like middle school humor. But there are some other funny comics.

If you hover your mouse over the comic, an alt-text pops up. It generally has an explanation for the immaturity in the comic, or an addition to the humour.
But you’re right, that one was pretty campy.

welll…..my teacher told me very early on that diaphragm support was similar to the effort exerted when “going to the bathroom”, i think was the way he put it. i’m not sure it influenced the way i play the oboe, but it may have influenced the other thing!!
