Spring Break!

Spring Break is here, although it isn’t much of a spring break. I need to:

Practice for an upcoming recital with the rep being:

• Tomasi×Evocations
• Hindesmith×Sonata
• Saint Saens×Sonata
• Loeffler×Deux Rhapsodies
• Hanson×Pastorale

I also have 2 new quintets I need to learn (student composers), catch up on my reed backorders (which are first! don’t worry folks!), and work on figuring how to get more fullness in my sound at a pianissimo playing. My sound tends to get thin, and I don’t like it.

But first— a day at the beach— That’s if my buddy wakes up and calls me (like he was supposed to 10 minutes ago.)
