Beautiful, Coop!  That strikes me as an overly slow and more challenging tempo to have to play through and sustain your lyricism, but you gotta play the cards you’re dealt.  Definitely hearing that DeLancie influence in the sound concept!

Hey Cooper. I’ve been reading your blog for a long time and I always find it fascinating. You sound a lot like Ray Still you know =) Very resonant sound and the dynamics with vibrato were perfect. I’ll be at the IDRS convention and I hope to see you there to try some reeds. This will be my first IDRS convention and I really hope to come away from it with a new perspective of playing and concept of sound. I don’t know what to expect though in terms of how reeds will respond with the altitude in Provo coupled with the humidity difference! A reed going from around 140 feet sea level to 4523 ft sea level; it sounds like a bad oboe physics experiment.
